ok, we all know the Cams reg's, and these are design for competition vehicles, but bare in mind for normal road useage, you are not allowed to have the side intrusion bars or bars, regardless of padding, within 60mm of any occupant... that is period! also engineering reports will be needed for rego and that car will become registed as a two seater, if he is fine with this, there will be no prob for either the law or engineers that sign off.... Of course, us lucky bastard's that race get away with this, and I'm still wondering why as the car is much safer than the govern. restrictions, but they deem it unsafe... go figure..
