Excels are the Dispossable Nappy of the Motorvehicle industry.
They rattle and shake from factory, the build quality and performance varies vastly from car to car and in my opinion they look terrible too (no matter how much you spend on ricing them up)
for $5000 you could easily buy yourself an AE92 corolla which will go better, look better, last longer and has a bit more street cred.
I take pride in the cars I own (thus only ever owing Toyotas) and so would never even thing about buying one of these SH!TT3R5
Make sure you get your G/F to drive a few different similar sized cars so that she knows the difference in build quality (or lack thereof)
