my old 1991 seca with the standard 4A-FE would take on almost anything and i only had it to 180km/h and it wanted to keep going (but i ran out of road)
We can draw 3 conclusions from this post
1. There are not many quick cars in Toowoomba if a 4AFE powered seca was "taking them on".
2. "i only had it to 180km/h and it wanted to keep going (but i ran out of road)" this would take approximately 25 seconds and a f$%king long road. Please don't do this again as the seca was never designed for this and I can guarantee IT didn't want to keep going
3. The 4AFE is ghey.

Does this work?
Maybe but why would you do it?

Will 7MGTE injectors work in the 4A fuel rail?
They work in a 4AGE and 4AGZE fuel rail

I don't plan on running more than 10psi for a long time (unless the GZE block can withstand more)
It can withstand much more.
Just do what others have said and use a complete 4AGZE, building up a mongrel heap of crap will only end in tears and cost twice as much in the long run. Save some more, do it properly and do it once.
I am unclear on the actual reason for you wanting to use an FE head as I can't see any logical reason to do it???????
