i have the block that the melted pistons came from maybe i should send it away for crack testing, and im getting some standard 3t-gte pistons second hand apparently no signs of detonation for $150
this should do the car ok (wonder if it will keep up with my worked 22re?), i can get it all in and running, then after 6 months once i get bored with it i will start to go crazy with mods i want to run a sequential twin turbo setup, the pistons should last til then
i kind of thought the oil return line was at least different as well as the pistons, just needed an expert like you rod to confirm this and set me in the right direction, before i start launching pistons sideways through the block and quarter panel at innocent children and elderly people walking on the footpath
rod, the next four days i have no work i am working on the cars i know ive said it a few times but DEFIANTLY have those pics this weekend if not tommorow night
