For those that don't know the 7A motor comes from the later model 1.8L fuel injected models.

Basically it's a 7AFE motor, narrow twin cam, being a homologation (spell?) from the 4A block, the GE head basically bolts directly on, a couple of things that need to be changed is the length of the timing belt (Porsche 944 belt fits!) and the timing belt pully. Some other things need to be changed that I can't remember right now. But it's pretty simple on the scale of conversions.

The easiest way to get performance out of the 7AFE is put the GE head on. That's basically exactly like stroking the 4AGE.
