Wed, 20 April 2005 21:57 Hi Raj, It seems to be that the spun halves are readily available over there. What price do they run to, and can you get them with the centre hole cut and the bolt pattern drilled ? I'm thinking of widening the Rays rims to 17x9" when I finally get them if they are troo narrow at the back. The big drama in Australia is that there are very few metal spinners around, and even fewer that have the moulds to do them (as well as the skills). For info, the Simmons spun halves in 16" are around the AUD $250 EACH without polishing. So yes, buying "thin" rims and then re-hooping in Aus is not cheap or easy.
