My uncle works as a tradesman repairing and pulling down shell and a few other servos, and the operators will regularly admit that up to 95% of profity comes from sellingpies chocalates magazine etc etc. These things cost them fuck all to buy and the mark up is huge however they may make 5-10c a litre in petrol due to the margins at which the oil suppliers operate then taxation. with that frame of mind, wouldnt they discount the fuel to get the ppl in the door buying snacks [Report message to a moderator]
