Yes, they do interchange. I actually used a heavy duty 3TC clutch kit on my 4AGTE originally.
Just to be clear though, its only the early BLUETOP 86kw 4AGE that fits, not the later 100kw & 20 valves, as they are 1/2" bigger diameter.
I'm not so sure that the 4AG has more clamp though.... its always been a problem to build enough clamp into the toyota 200mm pressure plates... there's a bunch of "4AGE/TE clutch" threads posted previously. For an N/A setup though, i'm sure you'd be fine.
