No worries humble exhaust is done too, it's ok, not completely happy with it but it will have to do before i go a 3.5inch system.
Frank, yep a decent sized aftermarket core is your best go from my point of view. We did some measurments on saturday and i think we had a core that's 380mm tall by about 550mm wide and 3inch thick. This is with some good tanks and the piping coming into the cooler from the driver side and leaving passenger up to the throttle body. Not doubling back as the factory setup usually goes and adding at least 500mm of un-necesary piping for the turbo to pressurise before i come on boost.
The piping i have managed to rescue most of it from my orginal car. I made it out of 2.5inch mild steel with mandrel bends and welded it together. Cost me about $90 in just steel from Liverpool exhausts about 2 years ago. I then got it all cermaic coated inside and out over the lot for about $120.
The IC will be $1000, i gotta remove the front of the car etc to help and have all the ic piping in place to make it easier.
