havent got any specific answers but more of the same problem.
I did the r33 brake upgrade into mx83 cressida.
17" wheels,BA ford slotted rotors with r33 4 pot calipers.All credit for sorting this mod belongs to John of importbitz to my knowledge.Well done john.
Anyway,fitted these parts which includes a spacer between the wheel and hub plus a similiar spacer between rotor and hub.
The spacer is a ring to fill the space between a hub which is too small and a wheel or rotor designed for a hub with a larger Outside diamater [O.D.]
Initially all was OK but after a trip 2000K,s return the brakes slowly developed a monumental shudder which made me shudder each time I reluctantly touched the brake pedal.
I have since removed,cleaned,filed and checked all components more than once to find an improvement on road test but not perfect and it progressively goes to an ever increasing shudder.
Its a piss off for sure,particularly when the problem must be extremely simple and I cant sort it.Doh!
