michael.......the rears are disc but with the internal drum brake shoes for the handbrake. my guess is they are dragging or have dragged in the past and warped the internals of the rotor where the shoe sits thus causing the problem.

pete.....are the rims you're running the correct offset? although you do make mention of the fact that it goes away initially then comes back....
