howstuffworks.com is an awesome site to start off on. But there's no better experience than getting your hands dirty. I learnt most about my rolla when i stripped it out, installed audio, central locking etc

Same thing with the engine, pull it out if you have the room and equipment. Also, pages like Bill Sherwood and some others... Very Happy
