Look at the back of the caliper, it has two rubber thingies sticking out there.
if u take off the rubber thingies, u will see two bolts that the caliper is sliding on, if the pads dont bite on both sides of the rotors, it simply means the bolts are rusty or have no lube on them. lube them up, force the caliper to slide sideways, it should slide fairly easy, but its takes a lot of force to get them to slide when their either rusty or out of lube.
