So you would recommend a reconditioned third generation, not a reconditioned first generation?
Has anyone done this before? would there be any issues with using a 3rd generation in my 1986 Celica? Would I need to get anything else new?
A 3S-GTE motor would cost to much for the insurance I think.
What is the HP rating of a 3S-GE 3rd Gen? What kind of benefits are there for this motor?  are they twin cam? not overhead? better fuel efficiency? etc...
Your help is really really appreciated guys. thanks
