Or alternatively, put in a 4A-GZE, sell the supercharger & install a turbo.
The money saved on the custom mounts & subframes (which you would need in a FWD conversion) you rebuild the motor with bigger turbo, custom manifolds, forged pistons, replace the head with a 20v, etc.
I know of 200+kW at the wheels versions of these.
Also, you have to remember that FWD engine bays are generally built around the engine.
Toyota FWD engines (with the exeption of the V6s where Camries have a removable subframe) have an engine mount on the end of the motor (where the belts are), & then one on the end of the gearbox. The other 2 are on the side either on the engine bell housing or the gearbox bellhousing.
Adapting another engine is a lot more difficult than a rwd, especially from another manufacturer.
