Not sure about the price of the double end tapered. Much better to use a linear rate spring and a tender coil (i ordered these today) as youll then be able to change your spring rate for a lower cost if you need to. If you are still looking at progressive, give them a call, and ask to be emailed the rate curve graphs for the springs you are interested in.
