Sat, 30 April 2005 06:51 i hate to burst your bubble but most of the other guys are right. if someone wants your wheels then theyre almost as good as gone. i took my car for tyres a couple months back and the tyre place didnt give me back the lock nut so i was messing round to get my wheels of and just got a 19mm socket and a hammer and if youve got good sockets then they pretty much just mould the lock nut into a 19mm nut and come straight off. mind you it was a little noisy. as for eldar if u looked how much some of those rays wheels are you would find that i think for 17's or 18's without tyres you will pay about 2g a rim. at the end of the day just be a little more cautious. park close to the gutter so its hard to jack the car up, park close to your house if not in your living room, and park in busy places. just a quick exercise for you guys to do, if u have a shock sensitive alarm set it on to a pretty decent sensitivity, arm it, and try and jack your car up and take off your rims. id say almost 9 times out of 10 your alarm will go nuts.
