Its not a problem to fit replacement bearings & seals yourself if you have a bit of mechanical know how, but you will still have to pay a turbo rebuilder to balance the whole rotating assembly before you can use it... This usually costs between $80 & $130 depending where you go, on top of the cost of the rebuild kit.
All this is assuming that both wheels, housings, wastegate flap are in working order, and that the bush style bearings have not siezed in the core.
