Yes the airbox has been removed and replaced with a pod style filter which is fed via ducting coming from the front of the car. The area is currently unsheilded but will be sheilded soon and a bonnet scoop of some kind will be added above it to direct more air to that region.
At the moment from the venting side of the BOV I have a small length of tube (approx 19mm ID) wich then reduces to 13mm and straight into a breather filter. (why u ask? just so it looks a little neater and hopefully is a little quieter)
The engine does not need to retain plumback for the afm as the car utilises a gas research carb and therefore there is no ecu.
I am unable to test this setup at the moment as the engine has no head. The Engine is an FJ20t
