Another thing to keep in mind is that (at least with stock-replacement springs) many progressive springs are effectively linear when installed, and are merely progressive to keep the springs captive at full droop etc.

My front Kings lowering springs are like this.

Personally, I'd be going the option as suggested by M.W.P.
