The cost of reprograming to my engine would normally have cost $70. Computer from a 7mgte going to a 1ggte. 'Cos I was making lots of changes to the 1ggte, like single turbo, 6 coil pack, EB throttle body, different idle control etc, I also had hardware changes made to the LTX8. Total cost $200. I think that this was real cheap considering it had been configured to the bits I wanted to use, not those supported by the manufacturer Talk to your microtech dealer and get the facts for your particular situation then make the decision.
