i dont know how hard your car goes but you may also want to think about the drivetain.
My sisters b/f has a 10sec Honda Civic, it is equipped with wheelie bars, big slicks under flared guards, stripped interior and a very radical anti-lift kit. lots and lots of power also helps though.
but by far his biggest problem is the CV shafts. launching a FWD without spinning places huge strain on them. causing a very early bang munch pull over f@#k shit f*%k.
i think a change of tyres would be the best upgrade without going to extremes of body mods.
