Yeah, true.. Just for clarity I thought I should post some pictures. The sender screws into a threaded hole on the side of the head.
Sender switch:

Old pressure sender:

The bits circled in red are where the sender fouls:

I thought it might be possible to cut off the black tab on the right in the pic, but it would still foul on the bolt for the water outlet. It only need to be extended 15mm or so to thread into the hole, that should be fairly safe shouldn't it?
