Yeah - unless your diff centre and driveshafts are TRUK-TUFF it's a road to breakage, and it's often quite a short road ! A guy at work runs a welded diff in his speedway car, and He's gone paddock-side twice to practice, and twice He's broken axle drive-shafts. He hasn't broken one on-track yet though - probably because the manicured clay has more consistent grip. (less shock)
