when you turn, the rear wheels travel different lengths, the inside wheel travels less that the outside...
what a locker does is it makes them both travel the same speed, meaning one wheel has to slip to let the other catch up, meaning your inside wheel slips (screeches) and makes a hell of a racet when your doing sharp turns, and the wheels wont let you turn at all unless one of them slips, hence parkings a mofo, and it fucks your tyres up.... badly...
lsd does the same shit as locker but only when one wheel slips, LSD is limited slip diff, locker is NO slip diff.
