for those of you not doingf anything this Sunday can i suggest:
Cruise to Queen Mary Falls
with the Toyota Car Club of Queensland
it will be an all day event (Sunday May
starting at Motorama 4x4xmore at Salisbury
arrive at 9.am for a strict 9.30 departure
heads to Jimbomba (a quick stop for the fools who forgot to buy food)
thru Beaudesert the passing Boonah
then towards Killarney via the Great Dividing Range
then up to Queen Mary Falls
for a bbq lunch, a walk to the falls and a few games of soccer.
you will need a full tank of fuel! route has lots of 100Kph territory on winding country roads and a many small hills.
drivers are encouraged to NOT BUNCH UP!
you will need sunburn cream and probably a hat!
The return trip is several options - drive up to Warwick then back via cunningham's gap OR return the way we came.
If you like the short walks at National Park sites, bring comfy shoes, a hat and a drink bottle!
BYO bbq food as apart from jimboomba there's no stops along the way to buy decent food and we don''t have time to wait for a long shop.
The Club drink trolley will be there for cold softdrinks and water ($1 ea)
