wiring in a new alt Sat, 21 December 2002 05:59
I've finally got around to getting a better alternator for the celica. There were no larger capacity alts to bolt straight in that I could find so I got one to suit a pulsar. I has an internal regulator instead of the stock external one and very similar mountings. I just need to check how to wire it up properly, and what terminals are supposed to go where. Here is a pic of the new alt http://www.orford.com.au/temp/newalt.jpgand the old alt http://www.orford.com.au/temp/oldalt.jpg both are only about 50kb. Can anyone shed some light on this for me. Thanks
