usually the INSIDE wheel slips when turning, and the rear end sometimes sorta bounces as this is happening. welded diffs are shit. not only to they damage the back tyres, but usually wear the fronts quicker too, aswell as damaging axles as mentioned.
they are illegal for a reason, they are pretty nasty in the wet. well nasty or fun depends how you look at it
