If you have selected a hose that is designed for oil, can withstand 200 degrees C or so of heat, and maybe 200 psi of pressure (I know your oil system wont get to 200 psi, but you need a margin for peace of mind ) then it should be fine.
Id be concerned though if you didnt flare the steel pipe that its clamped to, as you'd hate for it to slip off under pressure!
If you cant find a replacement original oil feed & drain line, then you'll probably find that its easier to get the feed section replaced with a couple of threaded fittings brazed at either end, and a braided flexible line inbetween.
