just check the piston to valve clearance by using some plasticine. Place a nice disc of plasticine on the piston top (about 3-4mm thick) dummy assemble the engine and trun it over. take the head off and check where the vavle has touched. Cut throught the plasticine in the thinnest area (using a plastic knife) and measure how much clearance that you have (3.0mm is a good safe clearance).

Having said all of that - finding blocks that will go out to 89mm is not all that easy.
