The NA Supra runs a 2jzge not a GTE.... have a look at the engine codes in the articles section of this site for further explanation.
While essentially they are the same engine, the NA version will run much higher compression and would not be suitable for turbocharging.... well not as simply as simply bolting one on.
If your going to 'wack on a turbo' anyway your insurance would be more than simply buying the turbo model to start with. A factory turbo should be cheaper to insure than an aftermarket installation.
