4AGE extractors O2 sensor wont fit???

Went to put the O2 sensor in the extractors today, but it doesn't fit the O2 sensor is further down on the extractors than the standard manifold, there is not enough room between the extractors and the chassis rail? Is it possible to get one made up that will fit? I dont really wanna not have one, cause then there is a huge hole in the extractors, or I will have to weld a plate over it which I dont wanna do either?
GE is in an AE86.
