Sure would be. If the check engine light is coming on it means that its stored a code. Find out how to run the diagnostic on your engine and find the code. Reference the code to the manual and it should be easier to find your answer.
Mine was hunting at idle, and was very jolty under acceleration too... all because of a cracked hose. I stronly suggest re-checking all of your vacuum and turbo lines
