If you are talking about coil pack cover, that was already done for me 
Don't know what trouble I would be running into? Unless you mean legality wise. In which case, that is the least of my worries. The car is mod plated but that doesn't mean much compared to officer's discretion It will have a heat shield around it soon hopefully and I have a bonnet scoop above it to suck it some nice air.
I was very lucky and didn't even need to bend the pipes. I bought a couple of 90deg bends and a 180deg bend and some silicone joiners and that was all I needed.
