I think KE382TG didn't have much room on the turbo side, plus teh intake pipe was already fabricated from the previous setup with factory computer & air flow meter.
How much time do you think the air spends in that pipe? When its rushing through at great velocity, its hardly gonna soak much heat from the relatively low surface area of the pipe.
Here's mine. No cold air here at all!
