Firstly tighten your head bolts to 72/74 pnds/ft.

Secondly, you got alot of work to do before you can just run 15-18psi otherwise you'll be doing the headgasket again and causing alot of damage to your eninge at the same time.

The factory ECU wont do for running that much boost. The ignition timing wont cater for it. You'll blow the head gasket straight away again because of the detonation. You need to go aftermarket ecu or piggyback.

Also need:
-min 3inch exhaust

-hi flow CT26 turbo, anything past 14psi and you out of the efficiency zone with a stock ct26. You'll just heat the intake air up too much for the intercooler to be able to bring back down. This will then cause detonation again and blow your gasket.

-Injectors max out at about 14~15psi (depending on how well you engine is breathing with your other mods such as pod filters, exh and better flowing intercooler) with the standard fuel pressure reulator. My injectors with the factory pressure regulator will now max out around 11psi because everything is flowing better and therefore you have more volume of air in there but still at same psi if you get my drift. So a rising rate fuel pressure reg is needed to get more out of your injectors.

This is what you'll need to keep it nice and healthy and tuning of the setup is the most important so you dont blow a headgasket.
Healthy a/f ratios and absolutly no sign of detonation and she'll live forever! Smile

If you do it right you wont be one of those people who blow their headgasket cause they dont know what they are doing and blame the gasket instead of themselves Very Happy
