Sorry for the late reply, been really busy as everyone is i guess this time of year. I would prefer not to say how much the car cost me to import because hopefully i will not be keeping it for to much longer before upgrading again. I dont mind discussing it in a private forum, however i will mention that it is well worth the while.
I owned a celica sx (st162) for about 18 months proir to importing the gt4 and love being able to compare the true differences. The gt4 was driven in Yokoharma (pardon the spelling) as a winter only vechile. The car itself is in wonderful condition for its age. The whole undercarriage looks as thought it has never been driven on tar or dirt. The car itself was imported with snow wheels and chains and all sorts of material to allow yourself to escape the danders of snow driving.
Tommorow, I will be spending the day very hung over taking the whole dash off. This is a major job as i am sure your aware being a celica driver. Hopefully i will find this chime and when i do it is going to be killed!!! I spend about 8 hours christmas eve listening to the the &*^$#$# up noice it makes.
While i am there i can hook up the amps on the head unit, well actually this is my number one purpose but the chimes need to go!!!!
Thanks for the advice as well,
gtrider
