if the turbine bearings had run dry at some point you would have heard about it ... metal-on-metal at extremely high rpm has a unique sound

if you are concerned, pull of the inlet hose and see how much lateral shaft movement you have.

If you're really concerned - use some kind of dial-out measuring thingo to get an exact measurement then ask the people who hi-flowed the turbo what the shaft play should be given it's usage/life-since-rebuild.
