The problem with superannuation is that it is locked away until you are 55, and the balance of the super fund cannot be used as security for a home mortgage or something similar... I don't see how they could argue it... if you are "investing" in a property and then you also rent it out, to yourself, then essentially you are investing in your own property twice... you're not just scamming your superannuation. The idea is that the govt doesn't have to pay for your retirement... what better way could their be? [Report message to a moderator]
