quick one, sarched but found no info.

I'm using a smallport 4AGE in a RWD application, should i be concerned about the oil pickup being designed for the engine to be mounted the wrong way in a car?

i just found my 4AC sump and pickup tube, and was wondering if i needed to put in some time on the oily ground under my oily engine.
