Thu, 19 May 2005 02:07 Not that ive done any research into piggyback units, but from what i can see, we don't have the amount of options here in aus as the states do. maybe its just me tho... i mean i could only think of a handful of piggyback units, and of those, i cant think of any that get much of a mention. maybe it is just an Aussie thing, to rip out the stock manegment and wire up a microtech, or any one of the miriad of standalone systems we have available. performance shops are quick to recommend full systems too, as well as magazines. Also maybe the support and tuning for piggyback units here isn't as good as in the US. i suppose its something to think about, and do a bit more research into. but it sounds like the Americans have got the systems down-pat, and have proved that they are are good option for people who want 12 sec street cars (or thereabouts) and i mean how many members of toymods have genuine sub 12 sec cars? this is something I'm going to look into.
