the best fans are genuine oem ones if u can get one big enough for your radiator. its a depth issue that kills most people. id look at a commodore fan if you have the depth? if not, i know of a volvo 16" one which makes au fans look like amatures.
The thermo switch best suitted to your 3t id say would be a 90' on 85' off one out of an sv21 camry or ae82/92 corrolla. Read the sides of the sensor, the hint is "90B" but seriously id buy a new one...thats what ive done for my ma61. At least ur gaurenteed it works and they are only $50 from repco. Champion brand they are.
