I had that problem, it used to happen when my battery was flat, i spent hours searching fo the problem, in the end it was the battery.
But this is different, they dont work at all. Im going to get another indicator box and try it in a couple days, then if that doesn't solve it, i'll drag out the multimeter and start testing. 
Hopefully i wont need to trace the loom, god i hate electrics. I should get some of those little mechanical indicators, little hands. ahhh
Anyway i was wondering if anyone had similar problems in the past, the loom is g\etting fairly old but the hazzards work fine so i guess thats good, does anyone know if the box for the hazzards/indicators has two different mechanisms inside it?, one for the hazzards and one for the actual indicators?
Anyways, i guess i'll sort it out...
