Upper control arm bolts

Sorting out the suspension on my Corona Mk2, and I need to undo the upper conrtol arm bolts. There is minimal clearance between them and the bodywork, and the manual suggests I use an SST to undo them.
They are on tight, and look like they have never been undone in the last 27 years. I have saturated them with WD40, and have cut down a spanner to get in there a try to undo them (with hammer persuasion) to no avail.
Any helpful hints? Car is non mobile.
Cheers Dave.
