CTP, TPP, Comprehensive... doesn't really matter.
If an insurance company (or any company for that matter) can see a way to avoid paying a claim then they that is all they are concerned about... ethics, morals etc. all go out the window with insurance companies.
Look at what happened when that old guy crashed into a pre-school... the CTP insurance company refused to pay because the courts found the guy innocent of neg driving.
Now if they refuse to pay out on a highly publicised case because of a technicality then I doubt they will even think twice when some "Hoon" with his highly modified HID racing headlights on his 3k powered ke20 with toyoglide transmission smacks into a hoard of pedestrians at night.
