I paid $400 for an AE82 4AG+ECU, it puts out 74kw at the wheels even after 12 months of my abuse. I really can't see the value in fiddling with a 4AC unless you're hell bent on making a point! Plus most 4AC's I've seen seem to have a tremendous appetite for head gaskets, except for the one I maybe should admit to owning once... Which, incidently, I even managed to make go (slightly) harder, plus overheated it on a daily basis. And to my knowledge it's still plugging away in an AE71... (I gave it away to someone who couldn't afford a replacement)
