how will your findings be kept to yourself if everyone can use the search function and find it too? Unless noone else uses the search function in which case you might be right
The reason for the emphasis on the search function is the tech and conversions forum is ideally meant to be a Q&A page about all the types of problems and inquiries encountered by toymodders.
Not searching serves no purpose but to clutter up the forum with hundreds of threads about the same couple dozen common questions that are easy to find anyway.
No one is saying that you cant ask a question. The outstanding majority of people on here welcome questions and are quite willing to help, unless its clear the person asking hasnt gone to any effort to find the answers on their own accord.
