Guys would it be hard to get the FM receiver unit or whatever out of an aussie stereo and solder/fit it to an import stereo??

I know you can get converters to make them work but I would like to go one better and actaully get it to read and show aussie frequencies.

Just that I have been offered one of those TV screen style units and I'd like to play with it but want it to show aussie stations.

I'm sure it can be done I just don't know what part to swap over. I have a couple of older stereos with LCD displays that should be good for donor electronics.
