I had a CRO hooked up to the ECU for my silvertop 20v just this weekend as I'm looking to make up a circuit to give me an indication of ignition advance (comparing timing of the distributor's signal against the ignitor signal and hence getting advance).
Unfortunately the details are at home but I'll try to remember to bring them in towmorrow -unless someone else gives you the info first. I took digital photos of the signals at idle, 1000, 1250, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000, 3500, 4000 and 7000+ RPM.
From memory, the signals on one wire to the ignitor was a square wave, the other had a nasty signal (a bit like a heart beat signal) that I didn't need for my application.
I also looked at the signal on three wires from the distributor. One is a square wave, another a sine wave and the third a nasty signal (again, not useful to me so I didn't pay much attention to it).
