Jacked the car up tonight, and spun the wheel and it made the scraping noise, so I removed the wheel and it still did it, removed the drum cover and it stoped, and I was able to make a small sand castle with the dirt that fell out and was blown/brushed off the brakes and drum cover.
Put the drum cover back on and it still makes the noise, not as bad but its still there.
That means its something to do with the brakes I assume?Like they are not springing back far enough to clear the braking area when not under brakes.
So yeah prolly what you said cannonball...it was only off the road for like 3 or 4 days tho?
If this is the case how do I go about setting the brakes so they spring back far enough?
Thanks heaps for the info so far and any more that comes!
Cheers.
